It’s a Feast of Postseason Baseball Today With Four Games

I could easily spend the entire day watching four games. Anyone who complains about the pace or duration of baseball games and neglects football (both college and NFL) has no credibility. On Saturday I suffered through 3 3/4 hours of the Gators LSU game. The stoppages, commercials, and bogus time outs were countless, destroyed the flow of the game and drew out the entire contest to ridiculous lengths. It was a joke and a neon bright sign of how the networks are exploiting the greed trough with commercial breaks. It used to be you could guarantee a football game was done in 3 hours or less. Now they are routinely 3.5 to 4 hours long. I am THIS close to putting the radio feeds on the college games I care about and using my precious attention on more important endeavors.

Thank God for baseball.
