By today’s standards this is old news but hey… I am busy in the pursuit of greatness as a painter, son, entrepreneur and writer.. We can’t have everything. Sometimes my posts are a few days late but that gives me the time to reflect on things rather than feverishly trying to stay topical or current.
Last week the Giants announced that Matt Cain and Ryan Vogelsong will be added/inducted/induced/enshrined (fill in your verb) to the Wall of Fame at Willie Mays Field on Saturday July 28. That will be a day to remember for our boys.
Eligibility requirements for players to be on the Wall are either five years as a San Francisco Giant with an All-Star Game appearance or nine years as a Giant.
