With their 10-1 thrashing of the Mariners, the Giants have won five straight and fifteen of their last twenty games. Wow!

Mike Yastrzemski hit a three-run home run  in the bottom of the third to break a scoreless tie. Evan Longoria had two hits and three RBIs.

Here is his sweet swing:

The Giants have now scored four runs or more in eleven straight games, their longest such streak since 2007. One of the stories of the game however is Tyler Anderson. The Giant starter pitches six shutout innings allowing only three hits, one walk and striking out 4.

The Giants are now 23-21, on fire and turning into Major League Baseball’s most surprising juggernaut. The Giants have a better record than the Yankees, who are 22-21.

Raise your hand if you saw this coming in March!
