The Giants got thumped last night. No need to re-cap it, unless you are a closet Dodger fan. Tonight the Giants hope to rebound against a Tampa Bay Rays baseball club that is mighty talented, athletic and well-rounded, but was struggling (until they arrived in SFO). The pitching matchup is listed as Zach Littel for the Rays. You will recall he is a former Giant. I always thought he had a bright future in San Francisco. But hey, what do I know. Oh, yeah, right. Littel was the pitcher who had some choice words from Gabe Kapler after being lifted in a game last season. He was sent packing, rightly so, soon after.
The Giants will opt for Jacob Junis, the Mr. Everything of the pitching staff in 2023.
