This is from the official Giants page and article by Maria Guardado, it’s a good overall look on the new staff:
“Price was Melvin’s first pitching coach with the Mariners in 2003 and worked under his fellow Berkeley alum for six seasons in Seattle and Arizona. He spent the past two years working as a senior adviser to Melvin’s staff in San Diego and now will return to a uniformed role for the first time since he left the Phillies in 2020.
“I don’t know that there’s another job on a Major League staff that he would have taken other than this one,” Melvin said during a Zoom call with reporters Tuesday. “Mill Valley, went to Cal, similar to myself and other guys, you hope at some point in time, you end up in the dugout of the San Francisco Giants.”
and now the coaching Staff is set!
Here is the list of coaches:

Former Giant pitching coach, Andrew Bailey evidently preferred to be closer to his family on the East Coast. It is presumed, though not confirmed, he was offered a chance to stay on the role under Bob Melvin. Mark Hallberg moves from third base coach to first base coach. This is a good blend of keeping some of the better guys from Kapler’s group and adding Melvin’s gang. A new Manager absolutely must have some of his own hand-picked coaches. Needless to say all this is exciting for Giants fans and feels like a new beginning. Now let’s see what the front office has in store for the roster via free agent signings and trades.
