It’s fair to say, in my humble opinion, that these next six games for the Giants may break or make their season and postseason (Wild Card) hopes. The Giants are reeling, fresh off a 2-4 homestand and in a nosedive when it comes to scoring runs. No need to quote statistics, take my word for it. Tomorrow night the Braves host the Giants for three games. It should be interesting.
The Atlanta Braves are the best team in baseball, currently. They are bludgeoning opponents scoring early, pitching shutouts and simply playing terrific all-around baseball. The Braves are so good that they are playing light and free, like they haven’t a care in the world. They are an amazing club and it would shock me to no end if they do not win the World Series this October.
