Greek Giant
Yesterday the Giants held a special ceremony to celebrate the life of Willie Mays. The Dignitiaries were many included Barry Bonds and former President Bill Clinton. Barack Obama sent a very special video message. When Willie Mays passed away on June 18 I realized that it was a moment of global impact. His death and career were covered in every serious newspaper and media outlet in the world. The Giants’ ceremony was just what it says: “A Celebration”. It was full of joy, beautiful stories, smiles and tears. It was all done with such grace and class, the way only the Giants can do it.
