The Giants are in Boston for a three-game Series against the Red Sox at Fenway, one of my favorite parks. I remember going to the series in 2016 and meeting Dr. Lefty, Mr. Lefty, Surf Maui and others from the blog. The Giants did not fare well but it was a great time. Fenway is a park every baseball fan must visit at one point. It’s small and beautiful with great views. It’s smack dab in the middle of Boston, one of the most beautiful and fascinating American cities, and it’s filled with wonderful energy. I found the hometown fans to be very warm and friendly as well.

Tonight’s game begins at 7:10 PM Eastern. The pitching matchup is Webb vs Criswell. Tomorrow night’s game is also slated for 7:15 PM with a pitching matchup listed as TBD for the Giants against Crawford. The series finale on Thursday takes place at 1:35 PM Eastern. Kyle Harrison will face Josh Winckowski.

The Boston Red Sox have a record of 16-13 and are 2.5 games behind the AL East Division-Leading Orioles. Rafael Devers, their third baseman is a monster despite a slow start to this season. The Red Sox are kind of in re-building mode. They have won two in a row but are only 5-8 at home so far this year. It’s important to remember that heading into tonight’s game Logan Webb has a scoreless innings streak of 19 innings going!
