The Giants are on a roll, winning four in a row and their first three games at Willie Mays Field thanks to last weekend’s sweep of the Rox. It has been an impressive start tot the season for the Giants starting rotation. Overall, Giants pitching has allowed the second fewest runs in the National League, with the Mets being the only team with an ERA lower than the Giants team ERA of 2.89.

Tonight the Giants host the Cincinnatti Reds who have also started the season in impressive fashion, going 6-3 just like the Giants. With the Giants off to their best start since 2016 is it unreasonable to call this club a postseason contender?

If you have not yet done so Lefty’s Out of Left Field piece from this weekend is an absolute must as it recounts her return to the ballpark and the experience of seeing the Giants play at home after rough pandemic year.

The Pitchers

Tonight it’s Wade Miley going against Aaron Sanches. First pitch is at 6:45 PM.
