Yaz hit a triple then scored when the Twins threw the ball into the Giants dugout in the bottom of the ninth inning. That winning run made it a 3-2 win for the Giants who were leading 2-0 heading into the top of the ninth. But Camilo Doval gave up two runs and that made it a new ballgame.
The win gave the Giants a series win against Minnesota and a .500 home stand after the disappointing Bkue Jays series.
